History
HANJIN SHIPPING is a transportation company of the holding HANJIN GROUP. It started its activities at the end of World War II, with the US Army as a major consumer, providing transportation of material to Korea and Vietnam. November 1969 is when HANJIN group made its entry into the business of container shipping.
Nowadays, it has become one of the top ten container carriers in the world, operating more than 100 million tons of cargo a year. Its fleet consists of some 170 containerships and bulk carriers.
